Yay! Year 8 is finally finished! It's sad, but exciting at the same time! Now I plan on going back through my previous years in order to break them into chapters and title them. Then I'll be flip-flopping between writing Year 1, and short story 8.5.

I'm exhausted. Time to relax!

Woohoo! I finally finished Year 8! All I have to do is give it one more read-through for typos and such and then I'll be able to post it. It's been a long time coming, and the end of this story was astoundingly difficult and heart wrenching. It may be just as difficult to read through the whole thing. I won't be able to read/edit during my lunch breaks, so hopefully it won't take entirely too long reading at night. Too bad I have to go back to work today. I would have liked to spend some time getting started on the read-through. ;(

Well I've been working away at Year 8. Slowly, but surely getting there. It took me a half hour to Log back on to this site, needing to click around and figure out on my own exactly which internet security I needed to deactivate. (The Help Support on this site is terrible.) In any case, I suppose I shouldn't feel too proud of myself. Since the end of July I've only written another 30 pages of the current story. Depression's been kicking me in the ass terribly bad this year, and I guess I've been more focused on reading through The Last Apprentice book series and playing Hanjie. But now I've grown tired of reading, and started writing during my lunch breaks at work again. My New Years Resolution is to definitely finish up Year 8 by the official start of summer. I'm supposed to be writing Game of Thrones posts to put up on Obsidian Portal as well, so maybe I'll add them to my site here too if I like them enough.

To fight off this depressing factor of zero writing, I've decided to post my long ago written Hockey story to my other fiction tab. It's not complete, but it's a damn good read. Where I stopped writing is a good enough cliff hanger to be the end of the novel anyway. ;) Probably won't ever finish it, but thought I'd share all the same!

P.S. I've already determined there to be another Short Story after Year 8. It will focus on Anton and be more heavily involved in his past.

Hey, guys! I finally finished writing Year 7, and I was able to post that and the short story that takes place after because of it! It feels so good to be completing my HP life's work, and I plan on refreshing my memory on Year 8 and working away on that next! There are 162 pages written, but I still have quite a bit to write. If you catch up on everything before I'm done and want to start reading it, just let me know and I'll post what I have written so far. Any updates on new chapters I will post in my News section.

P.S. Chapter 1 of my short story is very graphic "Honeymoon" oriented. So if you don't like reading that kind of stuff, skip on to Chapter 2!

New site creation! After being disgusted by the fanfiction site I was using, I decided to create this little gem instead, and I think it's absolutely perfect for me! I want to keep the know to a minimum of friends who have interest in my work. I'm so excited to be doing this, and it's well worth the late hours of work in order to get the site up and running for everyone to access. What a wonderful way to spend my vacation!
